It all started here

I have been longing to start with my own blog, just the same way as I always wanted to have a dream diary or write stories. Actually, I managed to begin with each of them but failed miserably due to a lack of focus. Being a Jack-of-all-Trades in the field of imagination and creativity I find it hard putting my heart on one particular subject for an extended time.

Having recently started my own company, I think this huge step would be well complemented by a blog. However the ultimate question remains, what topic should I choose? I have been scrounging around looking for lists and ideas and after many brainstorms I finally decided to write about the other side of the coin - what we may find hidden behind the veil web2.0. The Internet has taken a large portion of our daily routine and furthermore transforms our existence. Information is no luxury anymore and gets mashed up on a large scale.

The main topic of this blog is how web2.0 technologies (and not only software) impact our “virtual” life and social behaviors. Each additional technology builds a new services layer, which in its turn modifies society.

I’m a marketer and philosopher by heart.
I have no degree in sociology, psychology, or psychoanalysis and therefore will try to bash trough the veil using empirical data and my own experiences. This of course would be complemented by borrowing essential theories from specialists. I believe there is a connection in all what we do and I will try to present my frame of mind by using different patterns coming from the meanders of my mind.
While sharing my ideas and insights I hope to get in touch with others interested by the subject and willing to share their opinions and passions.
